    Teacher Educators from CEDP, Mrs Colburt and colleagues from Wollongong University are working at St Luke's on a new project, "Oracy through Inquiry". We look forward to learning together.

    Students in Stage 1 Lion’s Den are working hard during literacy today, with some students participating in guided reading while others complete independent literacy activities. The finger puppet plays were vibrant and full of quality talk!

    Students in Stage 2 Ministry of Magic began their Mathematics session by playing handfuls. Students arranged their handful of counters so that they and others are able to easily recognise how many there are altogether.

    Such a good day to play the "numbers and letters" warm up game in PE with Mr N! Stage 2 students are working cooperatively to produce the numbers and letters with their bodies. Look at the group of student's who have made a great 'Z'.

    Middle & senior leaders immersed themselves in professional learning about how coaching, when done well, positively impacts on teacher work. Reference to research, reading of journals & reflecting with colleagues led to a deeper understanding of the attributes of a good coach.

    Stage 3 students take part in a reading comprehension activity, by retelling a creative text about penguins. This allows them to see if they understand the text presented to them and how they interpret what’s written.
