  12. Dr Michael Hoskin, an Emeritus Fellow at St Edmund's, has just been awarded the Agnes Clerke Medal by the Royal Astronomical Society for outstanding achievement in research into the history of astronomy.

  17. Congratulations Professor Pilar Cuder-Dominguez, a former Visiting Fellow, for being awarded the Premio Martín Alonso Pinzón en Valores Constitucionales. This is granted for showing outstanding support and promotion of constitutional values, in her case gender equality.

  20. Dr Effrossyni Gkrania-Klotsas, a Bye Fellow at St Edmund's, was awarded a competitive travelling fellowship. A clinician, trained in both public health and infectious diseases, she is developing the first comprehensive transplant infectious diseases programme in the UK.
