As FY21 nos come out from RoC, this delta seems to be even higher. In some companies, audited revenues and ARR claimed in their pitch deck have no correlation! Revenue recognition rules exist for a reason.

As RoC data gets easier to access, notice a strange trend in many private companies. The net revenue on RoC P&L is a fraction (as low as 10%) of the revenue like terms (e.g. annualized rev run rate) used in pitch decks for the same period! We need more companies to go public.
