Stop celebrating peaceful cops, that should be the norm. We don’t write articles every time a pilot lands a plane. That’s just the bare minimum to keep people alive.

Racism became prevalent because it was required to justify slavery, and the theft of land, labour and resources by colonialism. Today it assists voter suppression, economic and civic exclusion, real estate grabs and mass incarceration. It has always driven by power and greed.

People close to me are at a high viral risk, so I have been actively finding ways outside of protests to take action and improve as an ally. That being said, if anyone in needs a ride to/from , or needs supplies, please reach out.

I gotta be honest the worst looting I've ever seen take place happened a few weeks ago when corporations collected over 500 billion dollars in stimulus money while everyone else was left with a $1200 dollar check and having to decide if they pay for food or rent..

More peaceful protestors and journalists have been jailed in the past week than all the bankers who were jailed for fraud during the financial collapse.

They chant “our streets.” And take up both lanes of West Paces Ferry. “We believe in justice. We believe in love,” as they all kneel in front of police cars blocking the street. It’s mostly quiet as the kneel except for helicopter overhead.
