I would like to see this full interview. The interviewer is trying to inject his opinion and hes rudely cutting off senator.
I dont think ol bitcoin Joe @JoeSquawk would have treated the senator with that kind of disrespect.

Look at the map in this link and try to tell me that the US banning Bitcoin means it will be accepted everywhere else in the world. Hmm interesting. It may slow down the progress but I truly dont understand how it can halt it long term. If the US banned the internet back in the day does that mean none if us would be here to discuss the topic?

In a hypothetical future where bitcoin is that powerful, a US ban only limits access to it's own citizens. The rest of the world continues to have unfettered access to a technology that's such a threat to the US that their only recourse was to ban it. Isolationism on steroids.

Dude this is a sitting Congressman. He writes the LAWS. How obvious do they have to be. The US is not China. China had the chance. Congress is about to unleash the banking and pension system on this. All they need are laws that say so. Boom game over
