Actually Chesa won both the first choice and the rcv tolls. Either way the constituents of sf like me knew he meant reform for our cruel brutal and politically oppressive police state and voted in hope for his reforms.

What reforms did you wish to see? Drug dealers not punished for killing people? Burglars not punished? Murders freed? Is it your hopes that there is no prisons? At what point if any do you think someone should be punished for their crimes? Do you care about victims?

Financially responsible? Sued? Fined? Do you mean drug cartels? How do you think they could be held responsible outside prison? They are murdering people.

Bars are financially responsible to their patrons, their neighborhood, their community. They serve addictive, dangerous drugs safely. They would lose their business if they killed someone with alcohol poisoning. They would lose their business if their patrons shat on the street.

Drugs are sold in small quantities. Little baggies or rocks.. Cut multiple times with chemicals along the pipeline from foreign countries. What if the dealer isnt licensed? Seriously Paul you are living in a fantasy world. Dealers are knowingly selling drugs that kill people

This irregular and impure supply is one of many reasons why it is prohibition itself not the drugs that are so unsafe. Reliable supply chains produce drugs that are usable with less frequent accidental overdose, and are less toxic.

Drug companies are getting sued over their role in the drug crisis. Purdue pharmaceutical just settled a lawsuit over the opioid issue. The settlement was for 10 billion dollars. Keep in mind we already have methadone which is legal and used to help ween addicts off heroin.
