Defunding police. Prison abolition. Medicare for All. Canceling student debt. Housing as a human right. These are movement goals. They should not be controversial, but they are. Incrementalism won’t get us there. Let’s get to work on transformative solutions to systemic problems

its no surprise they only have 9% of vehicles recovered when they have no officers assigned to vehicle theft but an entire division for traffic patrol.

Since Gascon and Im sure the new DA Boudin declined to prosecute auto thieves the department thought the investigation unit inspectors would be better in another unit. Can you show a case where a person caught in a stolen vehicle was prosecuted and sent to prison?
