In fairness to @chesaboudin and @SFDAOffice, The State Judicial Council told local judges to release recently arrested defendants without bail unless they are charged with serious or violent crime. That not completely true Tom. The state left the decision up to the counties to release those arrested. And since the county jail is way below capacity Boudin and the Sheriff are releasing those arrested not deemed serious risks.

Yes but thats up to the elected municipal judges, sheriff and DA... Again all Elected!!!
