I love Blizzard playing around with their own format rules like that.

Same here. That's why I get frustrated when people cry about spoiled cards being "OP" or not good; Blizz can do ANYTHING they want and they will always have a plan for what they want a meta to look like.

It's interesting to see how customers -think- they're doing things ;) That being said, it's not "crying" if stuff -is- broken. Let's not be 1600salt and strawman every negative comment.

No way to know if something is "broken" until it's played and tested. This is all in reference to people's reactions towards cards that have yet to even be used.

Actually there is and plenty do. Whole idea of designing cards is based on that. the cold fact of the matter is, some cards are OP and broken and they're meant to be. They've said it themselves even and end of day, sets gotta sell.

I think we're talking about two different conversations here. I'm referring to the community critiquing a card that hasn't been released yet. I'm aware that the developers have tested and played the cards. And, you're right, some cards are developed to be strong.

Not really, i'm saying that you -can- see op/broken cards from the get-go, by looking at the cards we have, earlier meta, or even just one card from the incoming set. What i was originally saying is that calling it "crying" is a rather rude way to dismiss it all ;)

BUT, there's a thing; i look at this from a CCG designer POV, not a customer :p

Yep, I think we just have different view points.
