My face at being asked what I thought about the prospect of dropping all restrictions & treating covid βlike the fluβ.
Itβs not the flu. 14,000 Australians are dead with scores dying every day. We are creating more disabled people. We must have COVID protections.
For all of us.

If you just substitute the word βrestrictionsβ with βprotectionsβ then itβs easy to understand why we control emerging lethal risks aggressively & are hesitant to reduce hazard controls lest people get sick and die cos thatβs what doctors are supposed to do. Not hard is it?

Oh come on. One moment it's effectively 'desirable' to get infected so we will release the brakes and when, whoops, it's clearly not so desirable there's another excuse for not doing anything. Lead, inspire, re-imagine, help, for goodness sake.
