You can't guarantee that 911 will do anything to honor such a request. There may be a local crisis center you can call instead - find out what resources are available in your community and put them in your contacts so you're not tempted to call in the death squad in a crisis

I've just been dealing with a relative with psych problems. I did reach out to the local crisis group -- they are the ones who told me how to call the cops (ask for a CIT-trained officer). The cops were pretty good, and pretty necessary in this situation. YMMV.

Hello I’ve been on CIT ride-alongs. CIT cops are STILL cops. They still carry guns. They still arrest people. They’re usually just cops that wanted a more chill gig than patrol. This is from experience and what they actually told me.
