I had a magazine internship that paid $50/week living in NYC in 2005. I bartended and waitressed to pay my bills. I made it work pulling 80 hour weeks but that doesn’t mean next generation should be forced to do unpaid labor as their only way in to a job in media. It’s bullshit.

Sport is an industry where team owners ask for public subsidies because they “create jobs,” and then turn around and offer unpaid internships. Unpaid internships are a discriminatory scam.

I like how we've no comprehension of what politics means. Politicians do it officially for a living, but everything that speaks to influence people *is* politics. Do you not play for FIFA? Have you read its mission?Sport, by claiming to bring peace, *is* political. Sit down.
