The US government acts in the interests of US imperialism and capital extraction...even if we "pull out" of these countries yet essentially prop them up as puppet states, we're just doing a neocolonialism instead of imperialism

It's funny because I'm actually researching USAID development aid to countries like Palestine and Afghanistan and lemme tell you it can get messy. No aid is free of ideology and the people that dole out the aid often don't know what the people ACTUALLY need to develop themselves.
