"Insurers and pharmacy benefit managers must better oversee opioid prescriptions." Lets harass even MORE cancer patients at the counter. No kickbacks for cheap opioid. PBM are corrupt enough already.
-
Exactly what I was thinking! PBMs are already bad enough.

This is so riddled with misinformation. SMH This sounds like it was developed by PROP

CVS Caremark that the article lauds is why I had to stop taking the opioid that had really improved my life for years for another that gives me at least 4 hours every day of bad breakthrough pain. CVS Caremark is awful. Avoid if you have any choice.

I don’t think he’s a bad man, but I doubt he can get the nomination. If he uses his money to help flip the Senate as he has said he will even if he’s not the nominee, it could help. I wish he could talk to pain patient advocates to get the other side of the story.
-
He’s extremely out of touch.

Just what we need, even *fewer* doctors able to write pain prescriptions, giving pharmacists and PBMs (really?!?) even more power to override them, and random limits on supply. Why aren't more MDs outraged at these kinds of intrusions into their professional practice?
-
Good question!
