Spectre is supposed to be really good, works nicely for flights too if that ever becomes a thing again with a nice screen and solid battery life as well as being handheld or lap/table top.

this may be the fan boy in me, but i love my 13" macbook pro. Integrates well if she uses other apple products. If you're staying in the windows family, Microsoft surfaces have good products - whether you want touchscreen, power or portability.

In a way, this is a matter of preference. In another, more correct way,
@6arks has given the objectively superior answer. I love my 13” XPS as a simple, lightweight machine for couch browsing or whatever.
