That said, team GMs have access to a database that shows all the players currently signed to each team and when those contracts expire, including any option years. So players posting that they’re becoming free agents shouldn’t be news to any teams that are interested. (4/4)
Pretty sure its not 100% up to the league and teams and players would also have a say in making it public thru maybe a player union because it goes into contracts
