I had a great call with Trooper Jensen tonight. By putting his own life in danger and intentionally causing an accident, he saved the life of this disoriented elderly driver and some unsuspecting vehicle up ahead. True heroism.

Our Department of Public Safety and UDOT are working on that study right now. We are compiling all the info we can find on wrong way drivers and trying to find any common threads and solutions.

Sad to hear that it was an elderly person that was turned around on the freeway. Glad for the trooper though

Can we do something about these elderly drivers? There should be some sort of medical testing every year to assess their ability to drive.
