But YouTube isn't for kids in the first place, don't you have to be 13 and up to use YouTube? I don't think this is a wise decision at all. What about animators that make less kid friendly content? Such as horror and gore? Your just screwing over the creators on your website.

Maybe you should overhaul YouTube Kids to make it more desirable and not mess with YouTube which is for teens and adults. Same with the whole demonetization over swearing. What's the point of YouTube kids then?

If this keeps up YouTube will just become a clone of YouTube kids. In the end all the older audiences will leave if a new site pops up. Which I'm sure someone will take the chance to cash in on YouTube's downfall if you keep pushing your audiences away.
