Father Conroy’s abrupt & unjust dismissal is hard to understand & impossible to support. In all his years of service, I’ve never received a complaint from our Members about him pastoring to the needs of the House.

Bet it wouldn't have happened if he'd been an evangelical pastor.
-
True, because an evangelical pastor would not have prayed for fairness and justice for all people.
-
Im waiting for a Southern Baptist in there to pray for God’s blessings on the good, white, rich people who so obviously deserve it

-
I've been fighting a Southern Baptist former employer for severance pay she promised and never delivered for almost six years. I called her once and she just laughed and hung up on me. She absolutely believes in that prosperity gospel nonsense.

Forcing out Father Pat Conroy the House Chaplain will only add to Speaker Ryan's weak leadership and cowardly legacy.
-
He doesn't care. He just became a multi millionaire. By selling out poor and older americans!!!
-
Father Conroy may have been forced out because of of a prayer where he prayed for the Tax Bill to be fair to all classes of Americans not just a select few. It would seem that fairness to all is against Ryan's "principles."

When a person shows you who they are believe them. Ryan has shown Americans who the real Paul Ryan is asking Father Pat Conroy to resign! Father’s prayer included all ppl which is doing his job! Ryan why? Only a coldhearted person would ask a Father to RESIGN praying for all pplpic.twitter.com/00X8eVA5JA

You all say you are "pro life" until it comes time to protecting lives from gun violence.
