Same here, Husband is 100% VIETNAM. General care is great. Anything more? Just can't be seen. He's pancreas was removed due to wound decades ago. Now brittle diabetic. Can't be seen by Diabetic Clinic more than 2Xs a year. Heart attack. Can't been seen by cardio for 3 yrs

No. it's all true. My husband is 68. He's been 100% physically wounded for decades. We've only used the VA for his care. I have so many stories of the last 40 years. I'm probably used to it,

350 Stitches, head 1/2 cut off. All lymph nodes on right side of neck cut out, 1/2" tumor (HPV generated squamous cell) cut out of base of tongue. Don't know yet if I have to take Chemo. You be the judge. Won't bad mouth VA DR'S. Few Nurses need 2go, some GREAT.

Once you get to that bed in the hospital it's often very good care. But it's the length of time to get needed treatment that kills. I can't imagine that you're doing so well. I hope chemo is off the table
