Agree! I've worked a public job until I was 50 and became very sick and NOW unable to work! I worked HARD ALL MY LIFE and saved my money and need it and Medicare to continue to live and get treatment, I'm now 56 and gonna fight to keep what I worked for and pay for to this day!

RN. Uninsurable after 20+ surgeries. I worked and grinned thru it all until I had no choice. Over 20 years I paid into the system. Contributory programs must be earned - they equal "something for something" and aren't just "free $$" from the government.
