the #lifelesson for the teacher who scheduled a test during the walkout is that you can try to manipulate kids into not taking part in the walkout but you can't manipulate them into staying away from the ballot box once they're 18.

No manipulation, just accountability. Also I hand my kids a voter registration form on their 18th birthday. The guys get a draft reg form as well. I teach govt not politics. I encourage kids to make their own decisions whether I agree or not.

I get accountability; I manage a bunch of people. And if we had an important meeting scheduled on a day on which much of my staff felt strongly they wanted to attend an outside event to express their opinion as citizens, I would move the meeting. You could have done the same.

I'm sure that you have some legit citations for that claim? That is nothing more than a conspiracy theory. But, even if it were true, it still doesn't change anything. It's time for a change. #EnoughIsEnough
