I know that if we brought the Thompson-King bill to expand background checks up for a vote, it would pass. It’s a solid plan supported by Members of both parties. @SpeakerRyan should let the House vote.

What about following the laws we already have and not creating things like the 2013 "Promise Programs" [B.O. & Holder] that keep law breaking youths out of jail and off the background check registry to begin with?

The gun problem is simple. Ban all guns period. We are a civil society right? Our nation leads the world in being civil right? Then saying we dont want weapons, nukes period! Get a UN vote! I guarantee NO NATION will give them up. It's fear. So we bear arms. Arent we at war?

Unfortunately it’s so deep in their minds that the best you’re going to get is control. A ban would never happen and the NRA is to blame for that. They’ll fight tooth and nail to keep them. As they have in the past. That’s why we need to talk more about CONTROL.
