Today, another American community is reeling from the horror of gun violence, perpetrated against innocent school children. Our hearts ache for the people of Parkland, Florida and the entire Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School community.
Our deepest gratitude goes out to the heroic first responders who provided aid and comfort to those in need. As the families and friends of the victims mourn and others wait for word from their loved ones, Americans everywhere share in their shock and grief.
Too many families have lost someone to the senseless epidemic of gun violence. Congress has a moral responsibility to take common sense action to prevent the daily tragedy of gun violence in communities across America. #EnoughIsEnough
No more "thoughts and prayers." We need lawmakers who will actually DO something to lesson the grip of the @NRA on our gun laws and money-hungry legislators.
So only the US has mental health issues? Our peer nations across the globe don’t? Because school shootings aren’t happening in Sydney, London, or Berlin. Is there no mental illness there?
It’s *you’re* and no, there aren’t anything even CLOSE to the number of shootings here. It’s not comparable. And vehicles are very highly regulated, unlike gun purchases. When you can buy a gun online or at a gun show without any ID or background check, it’s a problem.
As long as European Americans continue to ignore the violence and drugs in there own community the problems will get worse, pointing fingers at other races is not stopping anything. Take responsibility for your people before you claim to be better then others
