NO WALL NO DEAL. What don't u understand.
-
No DACA, no deal. What don't you understand ? See how that gets us nowhere ? GOP currently controls both legislative & executive branches. 100% on them to get results.
-
Yes I see how that works. The democrats will stomp their feet and cry if they don't get what they want and blame it on the Republicans

If a Continuing Resolution for the budget includes CHIP, but not DACA -- and you don't vote for it, it means you are choosing illegal aliens over American children.
-

—CHIP shouldn’t even be a part of this GOP fiasco, but REPUBLICANS who did NOT reauthorize LAST year are to@blame for CHIP expiring—QUIT PLAYING!

It takes 60 votes in the senate to avert a shutdown. GOP only holds 51 seats. At least 9 democrats have a responsibility too, so don't you dare shirk it.
-
then I guess the GOP better quit playing hard ball and negotiate- don't you think? Like that you love "your" God. How to you reconcile that with Trump who is about as far away from God as a person can get.
-
Guess your God and can judge a persons heart. No CR then 6 million+ poor children continue to go without CHIP their health insurance. Is that
@TheDemocrats love? -
I am an agnostic. The GOP controls the house and senate if they wanted to pass CHIP they could do it without the Dems. They are playing games by not putting DACA in. And it will cost them.
-
Please know your civics. In the Senate they need 60 votes. Only 51 Republicans. If
@SenateDems don't vote, then they will be shutting down the government and denying 8 million+ poor children healthcare. -
thanks for the civics lesson, but they can pass CHIP anytime by itself. The only reason they have put it in the CR is to use it for political reasons. If they want to do that they need to add DACA. They need to negotiate and not play games with sick kids. Buy a clue
-
Thought the Democrats wanted CHIP passed. Why are the Democrats willing to shut down the government? Please give me one good reason not to fund and keep working for what they want, DACA.
-
because the GOP has failed to pass DACA legislation for years. Why should the Dems believe it will be any different this time? Good enough reason? Furthermore, some republicans won't even vote for the bill as it is now. If they won't vote for it why should the Dems?

You bet they own it, Nancy. We are a party of principle dealing with a party grounded in avarice and greed, led by a man with no soul. If you have to vote to shut it down, you have my support. I will never blame you for adhering to a principle. Our only income is Social Security.
-

I am a woman living blue in a red state. I am also retired and on a fixed income. I 100% support your comment. I will give my Social Security to this cause.
