According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Gun Control Act (GCA) codified at 18 U.S.C. § 922(g) you're wrong. Either you don't know the law and are incompetent, or are knowingly misinforming the American people and are a terrible person.
