@nancypelosi My calculus teacher made me love math. I didn't go into a math focused major, but because I passed AP Calc I was able to grad from college early and save thousands of dollars. Just one way her teaching has had a major impact on my life.

Yes. My calculus professor Dr. Quinn made it happen for me too. He used to teach calculus to the dock workers in the pubs in the UK. He was a gifted scientist, artist, teacher, mentor.

I’m a teacher w/masters in spec ed. I’m looking to leave the field because too much paperwork, not having enough time to work w/kids, & horribly low pay, plus other stressors. Politicians need to stop telling us what to teach! We know best!
