Been laid off twice in my life. Once during Clinton admin due to new regulations and once during Obama admin due to new regulations

Never been laid off, never been on unemployment. I know people who suffered greatly after the GOP had their way with the economy last time.
-
Go back and watch C-SPAN coverage of 43 admin warning Congress of it and Dems rebuking him.

FDR's New Deal turned this country from a backwater to a super power. Tax cuts for the rich destroyed the middle class.
-
The new deal didn't make us a super power. WWII wiped out manufacturing in other countries giving the US a many decades long advantage

It didn’t help bcuz the 1%ers at top turned off the faucet before it could “trickle down” 2 working class. Pinch hose at faucet & flow stops

Most of the time they didn’t bother to even install a Spicket!

Isn't that the definition of insanity? At 1st you don't succeed, try the same thing again and again?
-
That is the definition. It also is the fabric of the Republican party.

Not once? My mom went from working 2 waitress jobs to make rent under 39 to 1 well paying job & being able to afford a house & car under 40
-
Really? The only thing that ever trickled down to me was government cheese. I've always worked.
-
Every time I hear trickle down economics I think nasty MASSIVE blocks of government cheese. It wasn't even GOOD cheese. Let them eat cheese!
