No, they just did everything they could to sabotage it, and still are. There are actions they could take that would reduce premiums. 1

But they don't, won't, because they want the ACA to fail because of partisan politics, and oh well if Americans suffer for it. 2

The ACA isn't perfect, no. But it's a good starting foundation. Better than anything the GOP has put forward the last seven years. 3
