ACA was passed in spring, 2010. Eli was diagnosed in November, 2010. He is on Medicaid currently and we need it to continue.

He will still be on Medicaid with the new bill. THE ACA real impact on mid/inc people started in 2015. Hugh increases and Pelosi knows.

I agree it passed in 2010. My error for not being specific. Medicaid is needed for situations like yours.

From 2015 Health insurance co profit went from 8billionto15 billion$. Middle class/ Income Citizens not getting susidized now cannot afford.

Single payer is the solution to the problem. Eliminate third party profit motive. Absent that, ACA is best option.

ACA not best for middle income citizens. Earning 60k gross and paying 6-7k in premium annual with 6k deductable before ins covers anything.

This is my family's story, not bullshit. ACA kept me from bankruptcy and Medicaid is just as critical to his care.
