Government employees are not exempt, but the cost is covered by their employer as with many jobs.

they are covered by SHOP, by law only 4 sm businesses: <50ppl . They use it anyway & our tax $ subsidizes it.

In CA with its exchange, premiums are up only 10% this year. Increases have been slower after ACA than before.
