My mom was getting $51 of SNAP a month to supplement her $740-ish of SS a month. 71 years old, disabled, and riddled with cancer. I told her "Trump is getting impeached" the day before she couldn't respond to stimuli anymore and I hope that gave her a measure of peace.

We often joked she was going to have to start shopping in the pet food aisle to save money. Of course, I made up the shortfall in her budget every month because she deserved better.

She was deeply ashamed that she had worked so hard (waitress, truck driver, worked in the fields, and finally an English teacher) in her life and had to depend on my little bit of help.

She passed away two weeks ago and she was an amazing person. She built the house I grew up in. She taught me how to work on a car, hunt, sew, cook, fish, and a million other things. Hyper intelligent and supremely funny.

Then take the vote.

They don’t need to!!

If they want it to be legitimate they have to take a Vote. All accused have the right to face their accusers. Question witnesses, review evidence, call witnesses. This is a fundamental cornerstone to our justice system. As it stands Shifft is running a Kangaroo court.

IF they ARE working and still need a little assistance, understandable. IF your a Senior or VET understandable. But anyone not working living off the system, no way. Those days need to be gone.

Meanwhile.... Hold people in contempt already.
