Spot on! Insurance is NOT healthcare! Some times I think we'd be better off if we had NO insurance for all to force the free market to lower costs but, admittedly, that is too extreme. Medicare for all, which is the opposite extreme, would have the opposite effect.

Yes. People jump all over insurance companies fo checking claims, but Medicare has no such checks and Medicare fraud a major problem.
