It would hurt his feelings for sure. But that's sadly all impeachment would do since the Senate would either ignore it or have him declared innocent in the Senate trial.

Wrong. We need the publicly televised hearings to expose his crimes to the nation prior to the 2020 election. The senate is irrelevant and should certainly never be given veto power over impeachment because of its own treachery.
