Americans have PAID into social security thus making it our money. The government not returning it tto those who have paid into the program is little more than a ponzi scheme.

The Federal Government spent the Social Security Taxes and issued treasury notes. The government now has to pay back those treasury notes plus interest. Then pay the Social Security recipients. People are being taxed again to pay for Social Security.

The mandatory monies that have been taken out of our paychecks since the 1930’s is a government retirement savings called social security. These monies have been taken out and misused by our government. Keep your hands out of other people’s money!
