Oh just stop! It’s not business as usual though you’ve chosen to tacitly support the monster’s behavior, words, actions by doing nothing to stop him. I used to admire you
@SpeakerPelosi - I’m wondering what is preventing you from action. IMPEACH -
It's futile to beat up on her every day. You know how many votes they need. At least wait until Mueller and Epstein info comes out. More will come. He's definitely worth impeaching.

This is pathetic. People working on federal minimum wage had greater buying power 50 years ago than they do today because it doesn’t even come close to keeping up with inflation. And you want a round of applause for trying to raise people’s wages 6 years from now?

Vote this down. This will not help anyone. It will destroy small businesses. It will do away with jobs. It will raise the cost of living.
-
The cost of living is disproportionately high especially in major cities. Nobody can “live” on a minimum wage. Also, big corporations are destroying small businesses.
-
True on all counts. However, small towns still have small businesses and their cost of living isn’t very disproportionate. This will kill small towns and the cost of living in major cities will skyrocket.
-
I agree. However, the cost of living is increasing everywhere including small towns so there has to be a way where small business owners can afford to pay their employees $15 an hour. Small businesses should be getting tax cuts if they are employing community members.
-
Not enough to cover $15 an hour. Remember, state taxes and tax cuts differ by state. Same with counties/Parishes.
