Call Republican members of Congress
Capitol switchboard: (202) 224-3121
Demand they speak up like Amash
Put the heat where it belongs: on @HouseGOP @SenateGOP
-
-
-
You'd think seeing Amash get three standing ovations during his town hall would let them know they'd have support.
-
Yes but we need to pressure them
-
Agreed.

If nobody is above the law, it makes no sense to chastise DOJ policy against indicting a sitting president when you’re literally Speaker of the House with the power and responsibility to initiate impeachment proceedings against the President of the United States.
-
Because, quite frankly, that is by definition all talk and no action.
-
But lots of punting.

Speaker Pelosi, I was pulling for you in the aftermath of the midterms. Now please, do your job and begin an inquiry. There is a clear roadmap here for you guys beyond the scope of congressional committees.
-
Just waiting for a couple more dominoes to fall...patience my friend.
-
If she has a hand, it’s well past the time to show it. Absent meaningful and appropriate action, she’s setting a terrible and dangerous precedent. Begin the inquiry and let the American people decide. It’s time.

Speaker Pelosi never utters the word impeachment in this statement. She is not listening to the people who elected her nor her colleagues. She should. She works for us.
-
She did mention indictment.
-
Actually, she mentioned indict(ed), but not in the sense of doing it: "He stated that the decision not to indict stemmed directly from the Department of Justice’s policy that a sitting President cannot be indicted." -Nancy Pelosi
-
She isn’t part of the justice dept.

So do something about it. Robert Mueller basically begged you to. He did not beg you to release a statement, he begged you to hold Trump accountable
-
I'm getting tired of waiting myself.
