Thank you Speaker Pelosi for the opportunity to enter a question! HR5 defines gender identity as: "gender-related identity, appearance, mannerisms, or other gender-related characteristics [...] regardless of the individual’s designated sex at birth." /1

My Question: If gender identity (defined as person's expression) becomes a protected class, would it be considered discrimination for a school to add a requirement beyond self-ID, (such as testosterone level), in order to compete in athletic events as a female? /2

I ask this because allowing males to compete in athletic events against females without any requirements aside from self-identification, would result in an unlevel playing field. /3

High school aged males are able to out perform the best female _Olympians_ in the world, in nearly all Track & Field and Swimming events. It would be unfair to the young females of our country to allow males into competitions with out any effort to level the playing field. /4

Because we would then get Pence who is even more evil and dangerous! We would have to impeach them all which is why Nancy isn’t calling for it right now.
