If this child, doing wrong after wrong, tempting you to punish him, isn't punished, then you're giving him carte blanche to continue doing wrong. Same goes in this case. You don't refuse to punish a president after he is found to have done incredible wrong after wrong.

yes, and further to that point. we should adopt merit based immigration that requires immigrants to speak fluent english, test and pass for their drivers license and have a marketable skill or plan for employment.
