Hi Speaker Pelosi. I'm a constituent of your district. I love you and am so happy that you are the Speaker of the House. But here's the deal... the Reps are not playing by the rules. They don't care what you say, and have no shame. It's time to pull out the big guns. Please.

We have a president* who is suing to block his records from being released, who has obstructed justice, who is profiting from his office, who has fired people who try to investigate him, and who is ripping apart our Constitution on a daily basis.

He is fighting the very concept of Congress being an equal branch of the government with oversight on the executive. He lies as easily as others breathe. He spews hatred from his office. He is an out-of-control toddler who has the capacity to turn our country into a dictatorship.

His AG, who acts more like a personal defense lawyer than the nation's top justice official, is a partisan hack who is happy to shred the Constitution to protect the criminals in his party, who has lied to Congress repeatedly and now is refusing even to testify when called.

This is an extraordinary crisis. It calls for extraordinary measures. We will lose our country if you don't act. And that means giving us more than stern lectures, angry tweets, and concerned looks. It means you need to use the power the Constitution gives you to impeach.

Start with Barr. Hold him in contempt of Congress. Arrest him, just as you would anyone else who ignores multiple subpoenas. Impeach him, and then move on to the corrupt criminal who hired him. Time is running out. Please please please and thank you from an SF voter.

I think you're wrong, Madame Speaker. If there are no legal consequences for a criminal, then they actually *are* above the law. Saying someone can't be above the law *in theory* is useless; it is only the practice of enforcing the rule of law *in action* that counts.

Yeah, I get frustrated to - but WHAT can she do about it, other than have more investigations (which she's going to do). With the Executive branch AND the Senate against her, she has few real options.

I would say have the investigations, announce the investigations — and announce them as “this is what we’re going to do about it” — and stop saying stupid things about impeachment being off the table. Say that in the name of justice and the rule of law, we’ll go where the...

…investigations lead. We don’t want “leaders” who sound like they’re abdicating their responsibilities in hopes that we’ll vote the rascals out. Give us leaders to get behind, who’ll rally us to vote the bastards out by showing the country a commitment to the job.

We are tired of the empty threats NANCY! Don’t forget you needed our votes to give you The House! Just as quickly as we gave you our votes, we can vote for other Democratic candidates to take your place!

I don't believe it's a empty threat. @SpeakerPelosi is showing the world chances are being given to people to do the right thing on their own. If the chances are not given whatever Congress does will be spun as a political attack.

How many chances can you give to a CROOK? Laws are laws! Had it been one of us, we would’ve been charged!

I'm as frustrated by all of this as you seem to be. If the House votes to impeach, the case is referred to the Senate for trial.  If the Senate doesn't convict Trump won't be removed.

I know he will not be removed, it’s the principle of the matter! The American people need to know what he has done!

Principal will not remove Trump or any future President that does anything wrong. Current & future Voters are watching everything both parties are doing. If the GOP Senate won't support impeachment a Democrat Senate will.
