Today, @SenSchumer & I had a constructive meeting with @realDonaldTrump agreeing on a big and bold initiative to build the infrastructure of America.
The purpose of the meeting was to find out the amount of investment the President was willing to agree to. We were pleased he suggested $2 trillion. We agreed to meet again in three weeks, at which time we will hear the President’s ideas for how he would pay for such a package.

Dems can pass good legislation while still providing oversight. They have BRAINS. Infrastructure improvements are badly needed in America. For too many years we have paid for never ending WARS without a war tax & roads/bridges have been neglected.
Some people can walk and chew gum at the same time. Other people just don’t get it.
I have every faith Dems CAN pass it. The GOP won’t. So this is for show?
