OMG. You really don't know VA changes. Since November 1 2017. Worth looking into. Have 3 boys in military over 10-12 years.. better than it has been in years. Dems forgot them for years. It's a good thing. At least a great start.

Look to the repugs for blocking anything for the vets. They talk a good talk but then block everything.

It boils down to the attitude that those in the military are so tough, they can put up with the horrors of war, & walk away without needing any help segueing back into society. PTSD is very real & has no bearing on what a soldier is made of. Help for them should be mandatory!

I hadn't been born yet, but from what my mother said, I'm sure my father had PTSD when he returned home from WWII, so much so that he asked my mom if their wedding could be delayed. She said no, and he wanted to please her.

Veterans and CPP are suffering and dying because they've had their pain and ptsd meds taken away. They serve and protect our country and come home injured, in lifelong pain and traumatized then their Drs take them off their meds. What do you expect? It's shameful.

1. Stop sending them to war 2. Stop the rx of opiates for everything above a hang nail 3. Real health insurance and real access to healthcare 4. Marijuana use for ptsd and other issues 5. Real jobs that pay living wages 6. Real education assistance

Tends to happen when people in severe pain are being told they can no longer receive life saving opioid pain medication due to an over exaggerated "crisis" that has nothing to do with Dr/patient decisions. Many non military CPP's also turning to suicide as only option as well.

Thank God someone is addressing this horrible tragedy.
