Wilbert, I've often asked the same question. It dawned on me one day, there's no such thing as "white". As Americans, we are all of different races and backgrounds. I'd like to think, that we all need to celebrate as free people and the day of that freedom.

I only saw a question. Didn't see or assume anything outside of that question/statement. I see us all being equal. We've all fought for freedom. I think the days of recognition are reminders that certain groups have had a more difficult time in recognition of that.

Why are ppl so afraid of what is different. It doesn't matter we are all ppl. As a kid I heard cruel ppl making fun of special children. Kids are often mean as hell, but most of that starts at home. When ppl know it's wrong speak up. It might have stopped lynchings and Hitler.
