This legislation has to happen now. The investigation(s) are going to be key in gaining the needed support to have a successful impeachment. Otherwise it will be worse than what happened during Clinton administration. The result was a disaster for Republicans then.

I get the impression that will be determined based on the outcome of investigations and not her own desire. She's trying to control the narrative and put the focus on legislation being put forth by the Democrats. People need to hear that and talk of impeachment clouds the air.

Possibly. I was just discussing this. While upset, it doesn’t much change my respect for her. I know she’s often had plans behind plans. It’s just a shocking 180, and I think impeachment, even if shot down by the Senate is a moral statement we need to make.
