We've outgrown malitia's. If a foreign army invades or our government needs overthrowing, citizens lost that arms race. No malitia is as well as armed. Or should citizens also have flame throwers, grenade launcher, tanks, armed drones... The revolution will be a cyber coup.

Citizens and governments we're more equally armed when the Constitution was written. Cannons being about the only advantage gov had.

“Tired and poor”, yet routinely proven true. To put it another way, people are more shocked to find out I’ve never tried marijuana, than I am to find out they have. Think about that.

So why is anything illegal? Criminals will just ignore the law anyway. Murderers will murder so why bother to enact laws to make it illegal? Rape nah, boys will be boys no matter what the law says. No laws, woohoo!

Because we use that law to PUNISH people for things we don’t want them doing. Not to pretend it will stop them from doing them.

Exactly, IF it s a law you are punished when you break it. IF we enact gun control laws and the criminals break it, THEN they are punished. Why do you think it works with murderers and not our homegrown terrorists? It is the exact same concept. You break the law you are punished.
