I do support background checks, the truth is they already exist. Why pass a law that doesn’t do anything more than the laws that are on the books. How about we start enforcing the ones we have. This is all just posturing by the Dems. Nothing will change.

It adds background checks for internet sales and gun shows. Those are huge changes.

You have to have background checks for both gun shows and online purchases. I’ve bought guns via both and had to have a background check for both. This is Dem propaganda. The only non-background check is when you buy illegally and no law will stop that.

1000% agree!! You have to have a license to drive and pass a test for pretty much anything so this is something we could all get on board with...

Great. Since you have to have a license, pay taxes and registration, inspections, and liability insurance to drive a car, we should apply that to guns too.

We should also force gun owners to inspections as well every year as well as a renewal registration fee just like cars.
