If declaring an emergency is unconstitutional, why do we have 31 continuing emergency decelerations?
-
-
-
And most of them are not even in this country...
-
This one is unconstitutional because is trying to undermine the congress responsibility of appropriation. Declaring an emergency because you didn’t get the money you wanted is not an emergency. It is a temper tantrum
-
So it’s constitutional if you agree with it, unconstitutional if you don’t? Seems there is precedent for declaring an emergency since we have 31 ongoing ones. Plus, of the 32, how many have you heard of? Me, zero. Our border security has been an issue we are all aware of.
-
Also, the house is responsible to allocate budget. Not getting money for what you want is not an emergency. Remember the majority of the country disagree with the wall. This administration is for the minority who voted for him

I love the way you selectively defend the constitution when you think it’ll make you look good to the supporters of your paid for Socialist agenda. Don’t think
#WeThePeople aren’t aware of what you’re up to! America will never be a Socialist country! Walls work. Congress doesn’t. -
She so desperately wants socialism to prosper.
-
You don't even know the difference between social and socialist!
-
Social programs are not Socialism! We The People are in power! Americans can make their own dreams come true. It’s not the wealthy or Corporations holding them down, it’s “the people” themselves. Socialism is Government sponsored oppression, it has no place in America

So for example a healthcare system affordable for everyone ist opression? In Europe we can life with this..
-
Brilliant, have you been to Europe to see what the a healtcare affordable system offers: tylenol. Check out the level of medical care they offer. Some hospitals in England don't even have air conditioning!!!!
-
Omg, no a/c? How did the UK docs ever cast my broken ankle w/o a/c? And I was an American tourist, not even a UK citizen and they provided hospital services to me...as a TOURIST. With zero money charged! But omg, no A/C!!
-
I have no problem with healthcare. When I need treatment it’s available same day or within a week if it’s for a specialist. When it’s not covered by insurance and I pay cash it’s about half price. My insurance isn’t terribly expensive and I only have it so my kids are covered.

The Speaker did not object when Obama sent $100 billion including $1.2 billion IN CASH to Iran.
-
It was $56 billion. Most of it, was in central banks overseas. It was Iran’s money to begin with, not a payment from US to buy Iran’s cooperation. In 1979 Iran paid 400 million for military equipment never delivered by us. 25 years of interest is 1.3 billion. Get over it!
-
Would have been nice of Mr Obama to ask Congress for approval.
-
Why? It’s not US money to begin with, it’s Iran’s money. The US did not deliver their order so Iran was refunded back their money PLUS interest. If you ordered at Walmart, & they didn’t deliver. Does Walmart have to go to the Treasury dept to get approval to refund your money?

Stop wasting taxpayers money. Pres Trump was well within his Presidential & Constitutional authority to issue an Executive Order. We the people want
#BuildTheWall#SecureOurBorder and you have no Constitutional authority to stop what the American people want & need. -

It is a National Emergency. When our Country is being invaded, when drugs, gangs, human traffickers, over 2000 illegal guns a day are coming into our Country, it's a National Emergency. Ask Nancy why she has a wall around her house.
