Um, who are those troops supposed to protect Europe from? The Soviet Union never attacked a NATO country, and Russia has never threatened to. More importantly, Russia has no reason to attack. Obama used to claim that Iran’s ICBMs are a threat - but Iran doesn’t have any ICBMs.
