My first hand knowledge comes from my relatives living in Venezuela and my colleagues who practice medicine there and see patients die on a daily basis due to scarcity of essential medicines and supplies.

Scarcity of medical supplies brought on by sanctions imposed by the US. Don't be fooled by the United States....the US government doesn't care about the Venezuelan people. They care about controlling the oil.
