Given that many Republicans tried to compromise during the shutdown by at least requesting funding for the Coast Guard and Democrats flat out refused, I’m still baffled as to why Dems would do that. That was a crowing bipartisan moment.

We used to have President's give press conferences. Of course they had brains and could actually understand and answer questions.

We used to have a press that knew how to report with unbiased facts, that used to ask real questions and report real answers and full answers.
